My partner and I had lunch here on Monday, and it was incredible. I just wanted to thank the management--we careened in about ten minutes after two (after driving around for 45 minutes, hopelessly lost), and they still let us have lunch there. The service and atmosphere were impeccable, and I cannot rave enough about the salmon and winter vegetables. Oh, yes--and plus points for the staff for working around my meat and cheese issues--they did not give me any trouble about substitutions. My partner Fey had the tasting menu--wild mushroom soup, beef tips and hand-made noodles, and rosemary creme brulee. I have to tell you, the creme brulee sorta ruined me for other desserts. I got the Mayer lemon poppyseed cake, and kept wishing I'd gotten the creme brulee. Not that the cake was bad--just the creme brulee was soooo much better.
It passed the lunch test, so I guess we're heading down for dinner at some point in the game.
