You can eat yourself silly for under $20- I feel guilty when my bill arrives. I only hope they are making a little money off this menu.

I'd feel horrible when I saw the size of the bill! My kids eat early, and they love edamame, seaweed salad, and miso soup. I could feed a family of five for well under $20. I guess I'd just have to order the best sake on the menu to soothe my troubled conscience!

We went the other night, and I agree on all counts. It is an AMAZING deal! We ate like Mr. Creosote and even with two excellent draft beers, the bill only reached $26.

So my wife, out of guilt, felt so sorry for them that she bought a picture off the wall! :D

One gentle suggestion to readers: If you love Maido and love what they're offering here, consider upsizing the server's tip to approximate something like 20 percent of what the meal would cost at normal prices. I think I did that. I sure as hell hope I did.

The people at Maido are great . . . in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike, we were without power for almost two weeks and were eating out at night quite a bit. Maido gave a discount to everyone who was without power and even offered to send their customers home with bags of ice which were hard to find in our area (I was elbowed by a "little old lady" at Kroger when a shipment arrived). We appreciated the gesture and returned several times during that period. One of the best restaurants in Louisville, in my opinion.

I am definitely gonna have to get over there for this!!! Maido has never disappointed me. I've always had both great service and food there. By far it's my favorite sushi spot in town!

How long will this offer be available? I am assuming it is for a limited time only? I definitely want to give it a try!
