Holiday Manor Impellizeri's

by Ed Vermillion » Sat Jan 17, 2009 10:17 am

We don't get to visit Impellizeri's as often as we would like to and last night was another reminder that I need to get over there more often. It's rare to satisfy the appetite of 2 hungry boys aged 11 & 12 but we managed to quell the hungry beasts last night. When we arrived the parking lot was overflowing but we only had a few minutes wait. The Pepperoni & Sausage pie and the Deluxe pie were excellent with plenty of leftover for the weekend and they seemed to arrive at the table faster than usual, which is great if your listening to said boys discuss the merits of zombie killing techniques gleaned from the latest video game! Hot pizza and a happy family on a cold winter night. Kudos to Wes P. and crew for a great Friday night!

We've been getting a carry-out pie every month or so. Really fine. Last week I had a nice BBC Nut Brown Ale at the bar while waiting on our pizza. We live about 3 blocks away....some day we'll eat in. The staff has always been super friendly and usually the pizza is waiting on me at 15 minutes.

Wes, I cannot begin to expound upon the fact that I am so pleased that y'all are here and I do NOT have to drive to the Highlands for an original pie. I don't know who made the decision, but thanks for coming out my way. Holiday Manor is a minor foodie ville only 4 miles from Doogy.
Great food along with great company is truly one of lifes best treasures.
