Has anybody heard anything about the Aspen Creek restaurant that is being built across the street from Outback in Fern Creek? All I heard heard is that it is a new concept from Texas Roadhouse

It is Kent Taylor's pet project. Mid range casual. From the article I read he stated that if it does not work that location will become a Texas Road House.

So that puts it in competition with Longhorn, O'Charlie's, Tumbleweed, etc.? That's already a pretty crowded price point.

Judging from the article in Sunday's CJ, it almost sounds like a re-packaged "Buckheads" -- another one of Mr. Taylor's concepts....

All I know is they have ads on craigslist describing it as a "Texas Roadhouse concept" and looking to hire servers and cooks for the coming Fern Creek flagship location.
