Oak Street Officially Gone

by Kris Billiter » Mon Jan 05, 2009 4:46 pm

On my way home from work today I noticed a "For Rent" sign at Oak Street Pizza. I guess Adam couldn't make it all work to open back up. Adam, hope you are well, fully recovered, and on to good things in the future.

Very sad. We will miss the thin crust pizza. Where else can you get that in this town now that Oak St. and Primo are gone?
When in doubt, add more wine.

Luigi's at Seventh and Main, just west of Proof.

Fraschelli's in Crestwood has also won plaudits in another thread, although as a once and sometimes New Yorker, I was not really all that impressed when they first opened. I need to try it again.

Damn. Such good pizza. Such an unfortunate situation.
