Baxter Station

I feel like I'm catching up here. This is just a quick thanks and thumbs up for Baxter Station. They kindly accomodated a fairly large group on NYE (9 people was our total, I think). Some were old pros that live nearby and get carry-out on a bi-weekly basis, others had never been (we fall somewhere in the middle), but the food and service were great, they got our NYE started off right, and everyone had a great time.

Also props for the bourbon list AND prices. $7 for a glass of Pappy 15 yr. old is unheard of, and it was a nice pour to boot. Thanks, Baxter Station.

I love love love Baxter Station - I've been there twice in the past month. Had the bacon wrapped filet for the first time and it was awesome - one of my first experiences there with diving straight in to a pricey dish as opposed to lots several less expensive ones. I almost always order a cup of the Morroccan mushroom soup (and did order it again about a week ago), and Andrew, if you reading this, the last few times it's been a little tepid. Is it supposed to be? But the spice is right. I always have to dab the sweat off my forehead. It's such a tasty soup and I'll not stop ordering it. Thanks for being one of my favorites in town!
