Lunch suggestions on Brownsboro Rd.

by DeeDee D » Mon Jan 05, 2009 2:51 pm

Hey everyone, I will be in some classes at the Semonin office on Brownsboro Rd tomorrow and Thursday and would like some lunch suggestions. I will only have an hour, so something close and good. Thanks!

Shady Lane Cafe next to Party Mart or Shiraz in Holiday Manor come to mind. Have a nice lunch.

I second Mark's suggestion for Shady Lane. It is my favorite lunch spot in that part of the woods. Bill and Susie are great hosts and they make some awesome food.

Mojito's is right there, too. I had dinner there last night and was in a hurry- they got us out in 45 minutes with very smiling faces.

I second Mojito's and Shiraz. While Shady Lane is a great place , getting to/ from it with Brownsboro Road traffic by the Waterson ramps may be a bit rushed.

If you are grabbing something ( no sit down), the Paul's on 22 is a maybe a mile away form the Semonin offices. They make great sandwiches/wraps etc and do it fast.

I find myself grabbing lunch at Shane's (really good bbq) often. Tokyo has great japanese food - no hibachi. Both are just down the street on Lime Kiln.

The other options already mentioned are great as well - lots of good choices in that area!

Cheers!

I would definitely go to Shady Lane. Great lunch and great people. Food comes pretty quickly considering that it is made to order. The earlier you can go the better. You may be able to call an order in and have it ready for you. The Smith's contribute on the forum and am sure they would accomodate your time frame.

Also, Impellizari's Pizza (sp??) is right behind the Semion Building. Not sure their time frame. May be worth a call.
