I resolve to cease being a shrinking violet and say/write what I really think about bad beer.

I'll toss in:

I resolve to learn more about the world and things that confuse me.

I resolve to learn at least one magic trick.

I resolve to play cards more - it's a pastime I've forgotten about as an adult.

I resolve to work out more so I can eat more.

I should resolve to quit smooking, but I might settle for slowing way down to the point that cigs totally gross me out.

I resolve to chill out on my friends' Facebook status commentary - it's grown to be true addiction.

And finally and most importantly, I resolve to cook more. It's been a long time coming.

I resolve not to do any major construction projects this year.... no houses, stores, anything! I cringed at helping my daughter put some legos together this week.

My resolution was "What? Its New Years all ready? God, I need a vacation!"
