Robin......Do you have a list of all the restaurants that have closed in 07 and 08 that might be of interest to us for another location......

Tommy, I don't have a formal list, but if you'll contact John White or Paul Smith at Food & Dining, you could reconstruct it from the "Openings & Closings" column in the past four issues, which I'm sure they'd be glad to provide it to you. Email me at rgarr@louisvillehotbytes.com and I'll give you contact information.

One thought, though: An awful lot of the places that closed have since been replaced by new eateries. In spite of the economy, there have been substantially more openings than closings in 2008.

There's a gorgeous brick building on State Street in New Albany that's available. Might want to check the Houston Group as well.

The former Danielle's is still vacant isn't it? And does have the advantage of being on a destination street for restaurants.

Yes and that location still has a full kitchen...

Yeah, what's up with that spot? I suggested it to someone else on here a year ago, and I'm pretty sure the restaurant had been closed for well over a year at that point. Looking through the windows, all of the tables are still dressed, aren't they? Sublime location.
