Yeah, early is good for us. Mary loves to retire around 8:30 p.m. :D

Have we got a final count? Shall we do one last push?

I count myself, Robin & Mary, Coleen and Gary, Stephen, Becky & Steve, possibly Jackie and possibly my bf John.

C'mon, people! I attended an open-bar Christmas party last night, and I'M still going. Don't act like those presents won't get wrapped if you don't start on them until tomorrow!

And this is what I get for not reading The Forum over the weekend... Confirmed with She Who Must Be Obeyed (NykiS). We'll be there as well (2). Sorry for the late notice.

Oh yeah, I flaked out by not reading the forum over the weekend and thought the whole idea was scrapped when I quickly scanned for the previous thread, but I'm totally in. I love the Rover. See y'all at 6:30.

Excellent! And jackie's confirmed, and Dan & Co. are coming too. The numbers grow!

Tell John he's gotta come, Marsha. If I can drag Mary along (and maybe even make her stand up and sing with us hambones), John can come and have a Guinness if he doesn't want to carol. CAROLING IS OPTIONAL!! :D

I know this is decidedly secular, but would anyone object if I bring along an Episcopal hymn book for possible guidance to the pianist? It's got dozens of the traditional carols in it with easy piano settings.

Who is the pianist? I told you people I'm not Liberace, but I can strike the opening chords or give us our beginning note. Yes, do please bring the hymnal, Robin, for reference if nothing else. I think we can guarantee no public prayers, and I'm all out of communion wafers! (Hmmmm....I wonder if there's any market for gourmet communion wafers? That's it - if I wasn't hell-bound before, I am now for SURE.)

Poor John, I drug him as DD to last night's annual Lou Lou employee holiday-fest. We'll see how the wind is blowing when he gets home.

If you're talking Kinko's, LHB will cover your tab.

If you're talking printer, ours is just about out of ink. :P

I will print them from here at home. How many copies of each? Can we get along with three or four of each song?

Gary says he refuses to sing, and he's not so sure about venturing out into the cold, but he's looking forward to the bangers and mash. I'm not a singer at all, but I'm looking forward to relaxing with a glass of wine and good company. See y'all tonight. -- CoLLeen ( :D )

Trust me, you're not alone. What I actively dislike, though, is when folks pronounce my name the way you pronounce "choline," because, well, I'm not a chemical property. Used to drive my mother bonkers. It seems to be a regional thing.

That is actually the way you pronounce the name of the court my friend lives, on though - he's always correcting me that he does not live "On Colleen Ct!"
