Need to find a nice place for Lunch in Shephardsville

by Bill Veneman » Tue Apr 24, 2007 8:51 pm

My mother is going to with my Aunt tomorrow to Shephardsville to do some shopping. Is there anything close to that area where two ladies can go and "lunch"......Anything like Cheddar Box/Louisville Antique Mall Cafe down that way?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Cheers!

Do you want steak, ribs, Mexican or a kind of old fashioned style diner? I worked down there for 16 years, so I have a feel for the place. Or, up the road in Hillview is this place.

Hawks View Gallery & Café
Distinctive hand-blown art glass items are made while you watch. Each piece is carefully crafted from raw materials and fired at over 2,000 F. Items are featured in fine gift shops around the world. Gallery and showroom tours are self-guided, free daily tours, Tue-Sat, 10am to 6pm.

I would definitely call ahead for hours.

Location: I-65, Exit 121 (Brooks)
Hours: Mon-Sat, 10am-5pm
Admission: Free
