100 Things You Simply Must Eat Before You Die

"The Best Southern Foods" ( with the above subtitle) is the front page story for last month's Garden & Gun Magazine.( If you've never heard of it- it's A high-end southern lifestyle publication).

5 Kentucky foods made the list:
Mutton Sandwich , George's Bar-b-que, Owensboro
Rolled Oysters, Mazzoni's, Louisville ( so sad and ironic, right as they closed...)
Modjeska's, Muth's Candy store, Louisville
Devil's Food Donut , Spalding's Bakery, Lexington
Inside-Out Hotbrown , Wallace Station, Versailles


I've had the Rolled oysters and the Modjeska. Anybody out there had any/all of the rest? Any Kentucky foods you think should have been included( Indiana doesn't count- this is a Southern publication )

Note, though, that mutton barbecue comes from Western Kentucky ...

Try Flabbys in Germantown .. same owner as Mazzonis. They have the rolled oysters. Hope they are not having to close because of Mazzonis problems.
