Christmas Day Brunch/Lunch?

by Mark R. » Wed Dec 10, 2008 2:19 pm

What local restaurants will be open for Christmas Day midday meal? We really don't care if it's any brunch menu or conventional fair. We don't want an oriental food. We went to the English Grille for thanksgiving and want to do something different for Christmas. We know the Oakroom is having there brunch that day, but what else will be open? We don't really care if it's fancy as long as the food is good.

Mark, Christmas pretty much shuts down the city ... the hotel dining rooms in general open at least at midday for stranded travelers, I think. But why the veto on Asian food? Vietnam Kitchen is a great Christmas tradition, but it's going to be hard to choose between VK and Red Pepper for me this year.

While my wife and I both love Asian cuisine we just feel funny about having it for a traditional holiday. Maybe we're old fashioned in that way but....
