All good, and expect a wait at any of them, Steve.

North and actually takes reservations so you can call and see if they have one available before you leave that way you wouldn't have to wait.

We slept in this morning and got a late start on the day.

We decided on Lynn's for breakfast/lunch. We got there around 11:45 and had a 25 minute wait. Well worth the wait. I really enjoyed the experience and the service and the food were excellent. Maybe we will hit North End tomorrow.

Well, we are going out for some shopping and take in the town this afternoon.

I think we are going to hit Seviche tonight.

We stopped by Za's late Saturday afternoon to warm up with some appetizers after fighting the crowds at the stores around Louisville. Judging by the crowds...the economy in Louisville must be okay.

Za was an excellent choice and we almost ordered a pizza and called it a night. We just had breadsticks and a soda. The menu was limited so that must mean they have great pizza. Thought it was odd they did not offer cheese sauce with their sticks.

I was amazed at the size of their breadsticks and what you got for $4.50....wow...what a deal!

After Za's we had to push our reservation at Seviche back to 9:30.

Seviche was a wonderful experience. I have to say the crowd and the atmoshere was somewhat odd. It seemed like it was a place with a split personality. I could not figure out whether the place was fine dining or casual. I usually feel uncomfortable at the ultra "fine" dining places. The patrons seemed to be upscale casual but the tables seemed to say they were trying to be "fine". The food was absolutely excellent and we enjoyed it. The only thing I really did not like about Seviche is the glass table tops. This is where I think alot of my confusion comes from. It is like being at your grandma's place with the plastic covering the couch. We literally had to hold the places down to keep them from spinning on the glass table top. The food more than made up the difference and we loved the experience.

Sunday morning we got up and decided to head back to Lynn's. We usually like to try something new when we are travelling but my wife eyed a stack of French Toast Saturday morning and we checked out Wild Eggs and North End and their menu did not include anything that caught her eye. What a great decision to go back....the bourbon french toast at Lynn's was unbelievable.

Thanks for a great weekend Louisville.
