What's fun this weekend???

by Jackie R. » Thu Nov 27, 2008 7:08 pm

Surely some of you can agree that this is a great weekend to get out and enjoy the city.

On Friday - There is of course Light up Louisville
BBC has a great thing that was posted here featuring the tappnig of Ebenezer ale, Santa's appearance, and tasty food specials
Ray's Monkey House has a neat vegetarian pot luck
Frankfort Ave trolley hop

On Saturday - VHS or Beta's annual concert at Headliners

That's as far as I can think in my comatose state of mind. What do all have to add???

P.S. I just got my hands on some killer beef jerkey that my uncle Red makes - Kentucky Proud and 6.50 a bag, not available in retail. I'll be selling it for him pending the demand, and the supply is large. If anyone would like some, please PM. (hope that's okay, Robin, the product has integrity)

Corydon Indiana will have a light up type event on Saturday. It is also the bicentennial celebration of the city. Sleigh rides, music, lights, santa and fireworks(the reason Anne and I will be there)around 6:00 or 7:00.
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

I can live with it, Jackie. You've more than paid your dues as a contributor here. :)
