BBC Carlos de Caliente

I just got back from BBC St. Matthews and they've got a new (new to me, at least) brew.

It's a malty, dark amber chili pepper beer, infused with ancho, guajillo, pasilla, and chipotle peppers. 6.0 APV and 20 IBU.

It ROCKS! Much better than the jalapeno beers I've tried in the past (which were always pale lagers). Just the right amount of spiciness and smokiness. Pretty low on the hops - it made a good match with my KY Cordon Blue (with country ham).

I'm going back with an empty growler ASAP... :D
