Sign up for OFFLINE at MELILLO'S

by Rebecca Clark » Fri Nov 21, 2008 11:21 am

We're getting together an offline at Melillo's to thank Michelle (et al) for the privilege we've had of Melillo's delicious creations and to give up some love to them. The list so far ...

1. Rebecca Clark (no Dec. 5/6)
2. John & Anne Hagan
3. Gayle DeM
4. Bill Veneman
5. Stephen D
6. Marsha L (Mon/Tues are best)
7. Robin Garr & Mary

Here are your two questions ...

1. Do you want to be a part of this love fest?
2. Is there any time you CANNOT attend?
3. Lunch or dinner?

Post away ...

We'd like to attend, as this outing will be budget friendly, I'm thinking. Earlier in the week is always better, 1st and 3rd Mondays no can do.

Why don't we say lunch on Tuesday, December 9? How is that date for everyone?

Unfortunatly, lunch doesn't work for me, but don't let that hold everybody else back......

OK ... since this is a work in progress ...

December 2: Lunch or Dinner
December 9: Lunch or Dinner

Whichever one gets the most attendance is the winner!

We went last night. Lovely as usual. We enjoy sitting at the bar. Very sad indeed. (And yes we took left overs. Antipasta and two pastas. Drank all of the Sonoma Cutrer.)

I'm definitely interested, though I'm not sure how easy it will be to convince my girlfriend to come have dinner with a bunch of people from the internet!

Didn't Michele's original post say that they'd only be open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays in December, or did I read that wrong? Are they going to open just for the HotBytes group? :?
When in doubt, add more wine.

It did say that, however it also said: "We have a lot of Holiday party obligations that we will be fulfilling and still have openings in December for more parties if you know anyone looking for a cozy place to host an event."

So maybe the Offline fits that bill.

Joel - I'm with you... my DH doesn't get it. But if the date and time works out, I'll go - with or without hubby.

I prefer December 9th for dinner, but I can attend on December 9th for lunch or December 2nd for dinner. I can't make it on December 2nd for lunch.

I would be thrilled to accommodate you, my friends any day or night in December. If it is a night I am not open, opening my doors for this private party group would be fun for me because I can join in too. Just let me know and we'll make the arrangements. And, in advance, thanks to all of you for your kindness. Michele

No can do Tuesday lunches - training day for employees. No Monday or Wednesday dinners, Scout and Explorer meetings. Pretty much all else that week is open.
