LowCountry Boil at Son of a Sailor

by Steve Bryant » Thu Nov 20, 2008 7:01 pm

Hey folks,
First off, thanks for all of the wonderful advice on the question "What would be best, oyster roast or clam bake". Based on your recommendations, I have decided to go with the "LowCountry Boil" starting this Friday and Saturday which would be November 21st and 22nd. I wasn't sure if it would be exceptable to post this so I emailed Robin to make sure that I would not be violating any rules of this site and he told me that because of the interest you guys have shown that he felt like it would be fine. I will post a picture of this entree on my web site if anyone would be interested in seeing what this item will look like. My web site is http://www.sonofasailorsfr.synthasite.com , then go to the photo gallery. Thanks again for you help.

Steve, I'm gonna get some friends together (hopefully next week) to come out to LaGrange to check out Son of a Sailor. A couple of us got together for an impromptu dinner. I told them about your place and we're anxious to try your place. Can't wait to introduce them to a real "Low Country Boil"!.

Lois

P.S. Now I see that you're only doing the Low Country Boil last night and tonight (Saturday). Don't know if I can get them together again so soon. Be sure to let us know the next time to "put on a boil". BTW, what's the cost for that? It's not on your menu.

I thought that too but the price is shown on the picture, it's $12.95! A pretty good price in my opinion.

It went over so well last night that I think I'm going to do it every weekend.

That would be great! I would love to check it out, but this weekend was a non-starter for me, with major restaurant meals Friday and Saturday night and an engagement tomorrow night.
