Mojito's New winter menu.

by Fernando Martinez » Tue Nov 18, 2008 12:55 pm

I'm posting this with Robin’s permission.

Mojito's winter menu is out w/ new winter dishes like:
Jarrete de Cerdo: Spanish style braised pork shank. Server w/ truffle Polenta.
Ensalada Pera Peral: Grateful Greens, pear, dried cranberries, pear vinaigrette and La Peral blue cheese.
and much more.....
We also have really good deals for lunch.

Gourmet sandwiches w/ the choice of soup or salad for $6.99.
and Sunday brunch coming up soon....
Mondays and Tuesday we are going to have a Spanish guitar player and specials on wine, sangria, etc....

Hope to see you soon. Fernando Martinez/Owner Chef.

Obviously Robin gave you permission to post this knowing that I'm sitting here at work with a paltry "Lean Cuisine" in the freezer awaiting me for lunch. Mean Robin!

Sorry Jimmy but no, with the way the economy is, it will be imposible to do a buffet. But everything that we are doing is under $8.00 and we are doing cuban and spanish breakfast items so it will be something different. We are also having our regular lunch menu with tapas salads and sandwishes. Some examples:

Torrejas: Spanish style french toast w/ mascarpone vanilla cream and port strawberries.
Churros con chocolate: Like in spain and france thick chocolate w/ our home made churros.
Tortilla de jamon, chorizo y manchego: Spanish omelet w/ chorizo, ham and manchego cheese.
Huevos Flamenco : Sautee vegetables and baked eggs in tomatoe sauce.
Tortilla vegetariana: Spanish omelet w/ spinash, oven dried tomatoes, goat cheese.
Cafe con leche y tostadas: Cuban coffe and milk served w/ butter toast.
Jamon con huevos: grill ham and eggs.
Spanish croque-madame: Serrano ham and tetilla cheese sandwish topped with bechamel sauce, cooked under the broiler and finish with a fried egg.
Bistec a caballo: Grill steak w/ eggs.

Also tropical juices coffee, etc.....Just a few examples.
