Columbus, OH, blog

Does anyone know if there is a restaurant blog in Columbus similar to this one? We are visiting my wife's mother and don't want to eat at Ruby Tuesday for the third Thanksgiving night in a row because it is the only place with beer & wine we can find open, at least in the general NW (Dublin) part of the city.

My wifes parents live in Columbus and when we visit we always have a hard time finding independent restaurants. The area we suggest is the short north area which they are building up really nicely. It is on North High St. near the OSU campus. We recomment Haiku which is a sushi place but have excellent noodle dishes and other stuff. Also there is Barleys brew pub which is a great brewery pub. I would suggest just going along this street and looking. Also there is a sausage house down in german village that was really good but I can't remember the name.

Of the Cameron Mitchell restaurants, I would definitely recommend Marcella's as it is different than any of his other restaurants and served excellent food in a nice atmosphere that is set up like an Italian cafe that serves many small plates and anti-pastas.

I'm not sure about any blogs about the Columbus scene, but my dad lives in Columbus a good part of the year, so I do have a recommendation.

Check out G. Michael's Bistro in German Village (http://www.gmichaelsbistro.com/). I've been there a few times, and it's great.

I've never been, but I've heard good tings about Handke's Cuisine (http://www.chefhandke.com/index.htm) and The Refectory (http://www.therefectoryrestaurant.com/).

Thanks for the suggestions, it gives me a longer list to call. I've tried about ten so far and all say they are closed Thanksgiving night but there's plenty more to call.
