Growing pains...

by Paul Pfister » Wed Nov 12, 2008 2:50 pm

With the generous permission of our host,

We are happy to announce the opening of a second Nuts n Stuff location at the corner of Swan and Kentucky Streets located in the Hope Woolen Mills Building. We are stocking several of the same items(spices, nuts, coffees, teas, chocolates, sugar-free candies, flours, sugars, grains, mixes) as our Preston store, along with some new items. Presently we are open Friday 10 A.M.- 6 P.M., Saturday 10 A.M.-5 P.M. and Sunday 1 P.M.- 5 P.M. Please stop by to see a unique store in an exceptional environment. We look forward to meeting and serving our fellow forumites.

Thanks again Robin

Paul, congratulations on the new store!! You're becoming a spice mogul. :)

What is the Hope Woolen Mills Building? As is our tradition, what used to be there?

Leah,

I think the Hope building has had several incarnations, but to get to the heart of your question, it is located across the street from the old Blue Bird Pie Kitchen. How's that for local color(no pun intended)?

That is an incredible building and a great spot! I wish you all the best in your new location. I need to come in for a look because I have admired the construction of that building from afar for a long time, heavy timber beam construction right?
