The die-hard EmO crowd will have to move back Downtown once this place shutters
Damn (excuse the language), but I think that's a little harsh. I definitely don't consider myself to be "die-hard EmO," (or "EMO" at all for that matter) but have enjoyed many nights out at the Pink Door, with friends who are also not "die-hard EmO." I've seen good bands there (thanks for the solid shows, Lucky Pineapple), enjoyed their way-under-market-priced drinks, and had a good noodle bowl or two. Unlike Baxter Avenue, the Pink Door has become sort of a neighborhood bar to those that live in the area, and it will be sad IF it goes. Yes, it can get a little crowded and too dancy for my tastes late-night, but who cares. And you say it's "laughable as a restaurant," but I don't think their primary purpose is as a restaurant.
