REPOST: Final list for Red Pepper tonight

by Robin Garr » Fri Nov 07, 2008 11:15 am

At this point, the total number confirmed is just a frog hair UNDER 30, so it looks like we can accommodate all the maybes.

Here are the confirmed participants as of now:

Robin Garr and Mary Johnson
Gayle DeM and guest
Ed Vermillion and two guests
Suzi Bernert and Richard Meadows
Mark and Linda B
John and Anne Hagan
Steve Shade and Sandy Proctor
GaryF
Bill Veneman
Andrea E plus one
R.N. Dominick
Stephen D.
Amy Hoover
Deb Hall
Jake Wildstrom
Holly R and guest

That's 26, and

Erin and Neil Riedel
would make 28, but Erin, if it's a problem for you, don't worry, we can adjust I'm sure. We'd love to meet you guys, though!

The following have NOT reconfirmed:

Christopher Stockman and guest
Melissa Richards and Tom Person
Richard S and wife

If you're looking on, folks, please respond.

Bottom line, though, if you're on this list, it looks like Red Pepper has room for you. :)

Hey Robin - I talked to Christopher this morning and he specifically mentioned his plans to attend to tonight. Don't know if that is official enough or not, but wanted to throw it out there! :)

Thanks, Heather! At this point I think we're good. If we're a FEW over or under, I expect they can cope.

Dinner starts at 8 p.m.!

by Robin Garr » Fri Nov 07, 2008 2:03 pm

The comments about a 7 p.m. start time were a temporary language-barrier glitch. They recommended the later start time so as not to conflict with their busy Friday night. Dinner starts at 8, but HotByters are welcome to show up early and get a drink (beer/wine) in the bar if they like.

Mary and I will try to get there a few minutes before 8, but probably not before 7:45.

I truly wished I were there, but Pittsburgh isn't really bad at all. Good eats, all. Hopefully I can be part of the next offline. Enjoy.
Great food along with great company is truly one of lifes best treasures.
