Book fair and Sergio day trip idea

I haven't been to the annual Ky Book Fair in a few years. Patrick Hughes, Rick Pitino, Roger Mudd (went to UofL) plus more than 200 mostly Ky authors will be in Frankfort, Sat. 15th. Schedules vary. So look ahead. http://www.kybookfair.org/
Since we'll be headed to Frankfort, maybe taking the scenic route on the way back, thought we would bundle a stop at Sergio's afterwards. Thought that might be of interest to others for a nice day trip.

Not sure if we could make the bookfair, but a visit to Sergios is not out of the question.

Mary and I loved Sergio's, and we enjoyed getting to know the Hagans. I doubt that we'd do the Book Fair, but we'd be delighted to wander back down to Shelbyville for another gathering if one happens. Right now the 15th is clear for us.
