Bottle engraving?

by Brad Keeton » Wed Oct 29, 2008 10:38 am

This is questionably on-topic, as this forum is for everything related to "food and drink."

Is anyone aware of somewhere in Louisville that will engrave a full, unopened liquor bottle?

Try "Things Remembered". You can find them at some of the malls. They etch glass ware etc.

Thanks, Gena, but I checked. They will only engrave a bottle if it's empty.

Glassworks on market can do it. $25 for dremel tool, $65 for sand etched. For the sand etched, they have to order masking, so it would take some time.

Thanks, Stephen. I'll follow up on that. I have a few friends that work at Glassworks, so I should have thought to start there anyway.

I'd call a trophy engraving place. I've taken jewelry pieces to trophy stores before, and they've done a great job. I would imagine they could do glass as well. I know they charged WAY less than Things Remembered the last time I had some pieces done.

I know Party Mart on Brownsboro Rd. gets bottles etched. Don't know where from, but you might want to call them.
