Exactly! We can re-group the crowd from the fund-raiser on one day's notice, or less.

Did Adam reach out to anyone on here who offered some assistance?

Any new info on Oak St Pizza?
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

I have not heard anything from Adam, and am assuming that it is not looking good.

I wish I had some good news. I miss his pizza!
I have not seen him since the day after the benefit we threw.
I last heard from Adam about a month ago via telephone.
He said he was going to try to open in December but if that failed then he would not be reopening.
/me is sad.

How much money was made from the benefit you did Matthew?

Not answering for Matthew, he may have a different answer - by my count, we got about $1300 for OSP from the fund-raiser.

Really? A freind of mine ran into the auctioneer a few days after the benefit and reported a higher number. That was for the food sales, live auction and the raffles?

By my total count there was approximately $4500 raised and handed over to Adam.
That included aution items, raffle tickets, cake sales, general donations, & the $1 for each drink I sold (I sold 250 drinks that day - the most ever for DCE)
The community response was AWESOME.
I only wish Adam had reopened.

Wow - I totally remembered that wrong, I guess? I guess I also was definitely not counting Matthew's dollar-a-drink donations, but still I was WAY off.

Guess it's good I'm not a banker anymore...

well aside from his business status, i hope he was able to apply the money to keep out of some ugly medical debt.
