Steve A offline at East End Impellizzeri's coming up NOW

by Robin Garr » Mon Oct 27, 2008 11:30 am

Just reminding anyone who may have lost track that Steve A and his wife are in town from Maine, and Wes P has been kind enough to open the KY 22 Impellizzeri's special on a Monday so we can welcome them with an offline.

Details in this thread ...

I'm headed out now! Mary can't join me ... she's working on an all-day DIY project - but if somebody says "Pizza," they're calling my name ...

I like it flat and round with stuff on top. :D

Seriously, Wes, I'm easy. I don't much care for the casseroley deep-dish Chicago style, though.

Oh, when I'm reviewing, I often (but not always) get sausage, peppers and onions. But that's just for a benchmark. I really do like all pizza, Wes. Please don't do anything special for me.

It was great to see everyone I already knew, an honor to meet all the new locals I had yet to meet and especially nice to meet Steve and Barbara. Steve and Barbara, welcome to your new home. I could see in your faces and hear in your voices how much you love being here. Barbara, you were correct when you told me the Ville is perfect for y'all.

In addition, many thanks to Wes and Bennie for opening up for us during off hours. Also, thanks to the 2 nice young ladies who took great care of us all this afternoon. I had a fantastic time meeting everyone, talking it up and eating great food. Great food along with great company is truly one of lifes best treasures.
