I am going to Asheville with some friends soon. Does anyone have great places for breakfast/lunch/dinner? All types of food welcome. Thanks.
p.s. I just saw a big thread on Asheville from September. Sorry!!! Any other suggestions are certainly welcome. Thanks again!!! C

I don't know where you're planning on going in Asheville but if you're planning on going to Biltmore Estate there is a very nice bistro at the winery and a very nice restaurant and the Inn. In addition there are several nice little restaurants and lots of shops in Biltmore Village was just outside of the gates to the estate. If you're not planning a visit and haven't ever been to the estate you may want to reconsider, it's definitely worth visiting!

Another interesting place in the area is Cherry Street in Black Mountain (about 15 miles east on I-40) there are lots of little art and antique shops as well as several small eclectic restaurants.

They have a wonderful craft beer scene, but I don't recall being overwhelmed by food choices. If you like British ales, Jack of the woods.
