by Jessica H » Tue Oct 21, 2008 5:49 pm

This week Just Creations is celebrating Fair Trade Chocolate with Choctoberfest. Throughout the week, they are giving out free samples of the assorted Fair Trade chocolates that they offer. There's even the opportunity to win a Grand Prize Chocolate Sampler Gift Pack, valued at $100, by answering enought correct answers on their Fair Trade Chocolate Quiz.

Even more exciting is the Choctoberfest Customer Appreciation Party on Wednesday October 22, 2008 from 6 PM-8 PM. Sweet Surrender has teamed up with Just Creations to help celebrate.

The evening includes:
-Fair Trade Chocolate Bake-Off - The expert panel of judges will include Jessica Haskell, owner of Sweet Surrender; Fred Moore, owner of Coco’s Chocolate Café; and the
Louisville Hotbytes.com Dining Duo, Mary Johnson and Robin Garr.
-Door Prizes throughout the evening.
-A decadent chocolate dessert provided by Sweet Surrender.
-Secret recipe provided for one of Sweet Surrender's famous chocolate treats.

The winner of the Bake-Off will receive a one-of-a-kind Chocolate Champion Bake-Off Basket (valued at $100) and the winning recipe will be posted on our website.

Please come and join us for this event. It's going to be a lot of fun, and Just Creations is a wonderful place. Besides, who doesn't like chocolate?

Melissa, as you may know, this was a contest for home cooks, not restaurants. Mary and I, Fred from CoCo's Chocolates and Jessica from Sweet Surrender were the judges, and we pretty unanimously awarded top honors to Maggie Jezreel for her chocolate-mint brownies.
