I'm teaching a soup class at Campbell's Monday night

by Marsha L. » Sun Oct 19, 2008 1:41 pm

Yeah....Campbell's soup class. Heh.

(thanks, Robin, for letting me post this!)

"Fall Soup-a-Thon" starts at 6:30 and runs until 9 or thereabouts. The cost is $45 per person. I'll have 5 soups on the menu:

Succotash Soup with Black Pepper Croutons
She-Crab Soup with Crawfish Tails
Creamy Wild Mushroom and Sherry Soup
Potato-Beer-Cheese Soup
Totally Money Tomato Artichoke Soup

Call Campbell's to reserve your spot: 893-6700

This is my third class since the beginning of summer. My next one is "An Elegant Dinner Party", a daytime class on Tuesday, November 11th.

I've got to come to one of your classes. I'm teaching too, and I want to see a pro at work. Any of these soups vegetarian?

Leah, I normally use chicken stock in all my soups, but I just realized, if we're talking about a vegetarian that eats seafood, and you substitute veg stock for the chicken stock, every one of them could be vegetarian!. Unfortunately, if I make them in class with chicken stock, you'd be able to see the demo, but you'd miss out on tasting the finished product. :? Rats. I shoulda thought of this before I sent the recipes to be printed.
