More than 24 (it was up to 22 mid-afternoon yesterday).

Does that include both this list and the few people who signed on to the other thread in the Offlines section? This is getting complicated!

I was just counting this thread, so there may be many more than 24. Robin, can they just hold the whole restauarant? (Kidding, a little at least. . .)

Maybe just reserve the main dining area... and seat the normal flow in the banquet area. There are lots of 4-tops out there that can be used.

On a related note- this is a great turnout! We're about to get midevil on that 'as k me no questions and I'll tell you no lies.'

Robin,

Is there room for one more? It turns out my conflict is on Saturday, not Friday, and even though Brian's out of town - I'd love to come solo ( you know I'm not shy  ) I still need to line-up a babysitter- so let me know if it's still possible....

Thanks,
Deb

Let's just everybody get on the list, and we'll go talk to the people at Red Pepper on Tuesday and see what they can do. :)

John and I want to come, but we'll have to check finances closer to the date - that's the rent paycheck. Count us as a "want to really badly and will if at all possible."

I would love to attend, but cannot confirm until the week of due to my erratic work schedule. I will know by election day. Put me down as a strong maybe, unless I have to work.

Darn !...already have plans for that weekend...Sounds like a great time. Looking forward to the "reviews"

Getting a bit close to the date here... any news on what the story is for those of us with placement numbers > 24?

We're supposed to meet with them tomorrow, Jake, and I'll post something by tomorrow night. I'm really going to try to find a way to persuade them to work us all in.

It brings me great pain to say this, but I won't be able to join everyone for the full feast. I have to have a tooth extracted Thursday. It will require stitching of my sinus cavity, as well.

/sigh

I might try to come out for some soup, though, if noone minds. If space is tight, by all means, let me know. I will pass on this event and join everyone at the next one.

FINAL GROUP: PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU'RE OFF THE LIST

by Robin Garr » Tue Nov 04, 2008 2:46 pm

(Edited slightly)
Okay, folks, it looks like we've got 30 people signed up for the Red Pepper offline Friday night, which leaves five people (three groups) on the waiting list, plus Stephen D, who can't eat but would like to hang out with us. Also five people who signed on as "maybe" and probably won't fit in at this point, but we'll ask about expansion possibilities when we talk to the folks at Red Pepper today or in the morning. Stay tuned!

Also, if you're shown as signed up but now don't think you can make it, PLEASE let us know so we can make room for others who'd like to be there!

I should be under the "Confirm" section ( I did post "yes" later), but understand that i didn't make the first 24 cut-off. I already got a babysitter- now I just need a seat... :D
