PR: Gourmet for Everyone now has local organic mushrooms

We are now carrying Sheltowee Farms mushrooms for retail sale. (They came from the Farm yesterday). These local Kentucky-grown organic mushrooms are from a family- owned and operated gourmet mushroom farm by Daniel Boone National Forest. They've been discussed on this forum before and are used by a number of the top restaurants in town.

Right now we have Sheltowee's oyster mushrooms in three different types: Brown Italian, Grey Dove, and Golden. They are absolutely gorgeous and very flavorful. Supplies are limited and we'll be stocking them on a trial-basis to determine if there is enough demand to continue to stock them, along with their shitake mushrooms once they become available in May.

We are open 10-7 M-F and 10-4 Saturdays; closed Sundays. Hours for Derby weekend (Box Lunch pick-up) are 9-7 Oaks day and 9-11:30 only on Derby.

BTW, thanks alot for commenting on the missing hours: we can't believe we missed that ( it's on on menu page, but not on the site). No one has mentioned it in the past....We'll fix it.
