Colombian Wine Dinner @ Seviche – Goose Creek Road
Wednesday, October 22nd
7:00pm
$55 per person (plus tax & gratuity)
For reservations, Please call 425-1000
Seating is limited

Chef Anthony Lamas will be offering his fifth wine dinner of a very special series inspired by the culinary traditions of the 27 different Latin American Countries. Each of these dinners focuses on a different country and is paired with unique wines from around the world.
October 22nd’s dinner will highlight the traditions of Colombia paired with wines from Chile, Spain, France, Argentina & Portugual and David DuBou of Vintner Select will be the wine guide for the evening.

Wine: Rayun 2007 Sauvignon Blanc, Central Valley, Chile

Dinner:
“Arepas Con Chocolo” Colombian Corn Cakes with Manchego Cheese, Green Chiles, and Grilled Tiger Shrimp in Lemon-Garlic Butter
Wine: Gramona 2006 "Gessami", Penedes, Spain

“Sancocho De Gallina” – Roasted Chicken Stew with Yuca, Plantains, Potatoes, and Cumin-Cilantro Broth
Wine: Joël Rochette 2007 Beaujolais-Villages

“Short Rib Sobrebarriga” – Braised Short Ribs with Dark Beer, Fingerling Potatoes, Roasted Garlic, and Chiles
Wine: Terra Rosa 2004 "Old Vine" Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina

“Columbian Bunelos y Natilla” – Crispy Goat Cheese Croquetas with Cinnamon-Brown Sugar-Rum Glaze and Toasted Pecans
Wine: Kopke Tawny Porto, Portugual

Oh, I could move the words around just a little - transpose "Cheese" and "Goat" - and make it worse. :oops:

Hey Robin! Sorry, you must have gotten this PR release from Dave and he does'nt have the printed menu. It's actually "crispy goat cheese croquetas"
