Marsha,

Awesome !!!...Congrats from Becky and I. We were hoping to get back from Chattanooga in time to drive down and lend you some moral support but we were late getting on the road...It would appear that you did just fine without a cheerleading section. Way to go.

Congrats, Marsha!! I tired to get there, but what a busy weekend!! I had committed to go the the Great Louisville Fire Drill months ago and by the time I got out of there, it was all over at PH. I missed the 25th celebration at the KY Center for the Arts, too. Why is the good stuff is all on the same weekends? :?

I have no idea how anyone is able to remember which chili is their favorite. I probably tried 30 different ones, and it is a lot easier to say that I didn't care for two of them. This was my first year attending, so next year I'll have to take notes or something.

By the way, it wasn't just me. Mark Johnson, the sous chef at Cafe Lou Lou, and I made the chili together on Saturday afternoon. We used house-made hot sausage from Frank's meats on Preston Highway in addition to ground beef- that stuff is seriously good. Get some!
