Well, you can see from my happy face, that I'm very acquainted with the winner in the wedding cakes division.

Seriously, Wick's voted Best Pizza and not even a mention of Rich-O's. BAH.
I am the original Mike G, never mind the impostor.

I am kind of a big deal.

Looks like another of those popularity contest, but hey ... nevertheless, congrats to the winners, especially in the Wedding Cake division! :D

....popularity contest indeed. When I saw that Penn Station beat Stevens and Stevens, my jaw dropped.

I just wanted to say - some categories might be a "popularity contest", but there's no way Leah won "wedding cakes" by a popularity vote. Leah won because she makes amazing cakes and her clients appreciate her.

Just sayin'

Well, the seafood category isn't much better. Mike Linning's has the best seafood? They have an OK sandwich but that's about it, they certainly don't belong in the top five!

All of these type of things, including LEO's, are popularity contests. Just know it.

It seems that Wick's always wins the Best Pizza category, even though to me it's a poor man's Impellizzeri's. I actually think Wick's makes a decent pie, but Impellizzeri's has better crust, better sauce, house made Italian sausage and meatballs, etc.

In beer terms, Wick's would be Blue Moon; Impellizzeri's is Hooegaarden.

How in the world would Kaelin's win best burger? It's the worst burger I've ever had. Flat, tasteless, overcooked leather.

I wouldn't go that far, but surely there are MANY burgers in this town that are much better. I can think of at least 23. From fast food to 5 star.
