Everyone at Impellizzeri's wishes Adam a quick recovery. We will offer any help to him or his employees during this tough time. It's pizza. It's family.

Wow. Brothers in pizza. Every single place I've contacted that serves pizza has jumped on the chance to help, even though technically they might be Adam's competition.

Thanks, Wes. I will contact you about picking up the gift card via PM.

Marsha I took a $50 gift card to Matthew Monday. It's great what he is doing and yourself, everybody. I left town Monday and will miss the event Thursday. Tell Adam we wish him the best and I offer my services to help him in anyway that I can.

Thanks, Wes - yes, we've got it!

Stay tuned, everyone. Matthew and I are meeting with the auctioneer this afternoon to organize the donations and this evening I will post a comprehensive list of what's going to be available.

ATTENTION: If you are a foodie or a beer geek, clear your schedule for Thursday at 6 PM - you do NOT want to miss this!

That's interesting as WLKY made a point to say that you, the viewer, could only see an interview with Adam, here on WKLY32.

I don't think they used the "e" word, but I clearly remember yesterday's 6pm teaser saying something along the lines of "an interview you will only see on WKLY 32."

Then again, if that interview was done separately from WAVE's, well, semantics would prove them correct.

I have every reason to attend this event - live across the street from OSP, have never been to DCE, wouldn't mind getting my hands on some hard-to-find crafts while supporting a good cause - but, alas, I'm booked with functions relating to an academic conference that's in town this week.

Hope lots of money is raised and people spend their way to whatever treats catch their eye. I'll have to offer my support by ordering extra pizza from Adam once he has his business back up and running.

You know, he's got to come back to the neighborhood at this point! :D There's that old saying that no PR is bad PR. A couple of featured interviews on local newscasts hopefully leads to bustling business when/if he re-opens.

Not sure I can improve on that, but will try tomorrow morning. Is it okay for me to bring them with me to the event? It wasn't until too late that I remembered to read the PM a couple of days ago. Apologies; I've been busy.

More in that vein....

Okay, all you folks out there who said "let me know if I can do anything to help": we need a volunteer to pick up Todd's fabulous donations from Keg Liquors and bring them downtown to Matthew's place at 331 E. Market. Hopefully someone that goes regularly from Clarksville to Louisville and back, so as not to send anyone out of their way.

Help! I'm on the bus today and Matthew drives a moped...

Roger, it's wonderful for you to bring them with you; however if you'd PM myself or Matthew (if you haven't already) and let us know what you're bringing, we're trying to organize the raffle/auction lots tonight before the debate. Also it'd be good to have them at Matthew's by 6 PM tomorrow when the tickets start being sold. If you need someone to pick them up, send me a PM

Thanks!

Too late to donate?

I've got 3 bottles of Three Philosophers that have been in my cellar for a while I could drop off tomorrow.
