Fantastic food and a real steal at $11.99/per person. They have a great waffle & omelette station and always, the best cheese blintzes around

I had the Southwestern Omelet and it was the best omelet I have had in a long time, while my 9 year old rated his pancakes as 1/2 a notch below the best he had ever had. We were there about 9:15 am and there was no wait. Great local, Mom and Pop place with very good food and very resonable prices. Be warned though, they aren't open on Sunday.
Ellen P wrote:Help. Need more restaurant breakfast options. Especially this time of the year, we love breakfast - but not too early. On the weekend, anytime after 10:00 or 11:00. For dinner, during the week. We live in western Oldham Co. (unfortunately). I don't like to go to the Bristol buffet - too tempting to eat too much plus I can't take leftovers unless I buy a meal to go, I guess. I prefer bringing 2/3 of my meal home with me - we usually order extra food - because we like eating out and don't want to spend too much time cooking.
Eva Mae's on River Road. Bob Evans. McDonalds, Dairy Queen (no, no). Motels with restaurants?
Lynn's. We stopped in at Wild Eggs recently for breakfast to go. Amazing menu. North End. Cafe on Brent. Toast. All of these places are always so busy and too far away for us to go to and wait for a table on the weekend unless we catch them closer to lunchtime.
If anyone would add some breakfast food to their menus or have any ideas. This time of year, breakfast is a wonderful comfort food.
(Saved the recipes from the CJ the other day for the two breakfast casseroles - both from the Butterfly Garden. I've made the sausage/egg casserole before. The other is a French toast dish. Going to make them for the next UofL home. Assemble the night before. Bake as we get ready. Also bake the Pillsbury frozen biscuits the night before. Some frozen dough pieces - Kroger brand is good. Buy some country ham. Jam. Eggs on the grill. Breakfast has become our favorite tailgating meal.)
