This just in from Lelia Gentle of Stan's. With the Beargrass Farmers' Market wrapping up for the season early (Saturday is its last day), they'll carry on for a while - and possibly all winter - with Saturday Farmers Markets at Stan's Restaurant.
Four Saturdays, October 18, November 1, 15, 29 (every other week -- I need some sleep!!)
8:30 - 10:30 a.m. each Saturday
Full Breakfast served featuring farm products from DreamCatcher and Earths Promise. Free Coffee included.
Market vendors tables will be set up on side dining room, with entry dining area set aside for breakfast seating.
Customers can come in for breakfast (with sit-down comfort of table and chairs), or browse the room talking with
individual vendors. Event will happen rain or shine, cold or hot!!
This will be a trial run to see how it goes. If it is a big success (for the restaurant as well as the vendors),
we may continue through the winter until the spring markets open.

In St. Matthews at Stan’s Restaurant!!!
We’ve had a great summer selling the delicious DreamCatcher beef, lamb and pork products at local Farmers Markets. On-site breakfast was an especially big hit at the St. Matthews Farmers Market (Beargrass Christian Church) where we cooked up naturally raised pork sausage from our farm.
With the seasonal closing of the St. Matthews market (October 4th is last date), many folks have requested that we continue offering our acclaimed Sausage & Biscuits and Biscuits with Sausage Gravy for breakfast, and find a way to make our DreamCatcher products available longer in the year. Here are the details of how we plan to do just that!!
