Private Dining Suggestions for small group

by Anthony U » Thu Oct 02, 2008 4:40 pm

Oh wise and all knowing forum members -

I am looking for restaurant suggestions for an upcoming weeknight business dinner for up to 4 people, in a private room or semi private setting. As most rooms seem to accommodate larger groups (and food minimums are priced accordingly), any ideas on what might work for our small group? Thanks!

Corbett's also has several smaller rooms and I would guess you could probably negotiate a good minimum. These rooms are full on most weekends and sometimes during lunch but I don't believe they're used heavily on the evenings during the week.

Also look into the new Jarfi's in the old Lentini's space on Bardstown. They have a series of small, intimate dining spaces that lead onto one another from the main dining room.

Avalon has many semi private areas inside.

Parkplace on Main has a private room as does Brownings Brewery - Both work well for these events

John E's has several private rooms and I don't believe they have a minimum

Amerigo has worked for me in the past with a quieter booth in the bar

Hope this helps!
