I'd second Varanese for the reasons mentioned. Upscale food and atmosphere, at a reasonable price. Not too loud and great in good weather (like we are having) with restaurant open to the outside, It'd really impress "foreigners".

The AA wanted the Prez to look over them and then she will get back with me. I'll let you know what we decide (with a report!).
