looking for space for watch party

by SarahR » Sun Sep 28, 2008 11:11 am

I have been tasked with finding a location that might be able to handle a large watch party this Thursday. Would prefer a private space with television(s) and the ability to order off of the menu/bar. Event would run from approximately 8:30-11:00 pm. I am unsure of the size of the group but we're a tame bunch!

If you know of any suggestions, please post or message back.

Thanks!

I know I've been to similar parties at Fox & Hound . . .

Derby City Espresso will be screening the debate this Thursday night. We put it up on a movie screen with our DLP.
However we don't serve food, just coffee, teas and beers.
For last weeks debate we had roughly 30 people in to catch the slugfest.
I'm expecting a bigger turnout for this Thursday.

Hey Sarah,
Carly rae's will have the televisions tuned, we have a large lounge with comfy couches and two large flat screens, full bar, full menu or bar menu if you choose and you can reserve the space all to yourself no charge (Call to reserve 365-1003). plus we have an independent running for metro council who is our bartender, so there will be no shortage of friendly banter.
It's all fun and games till someone puts an eye out! Then it's just fun and games you can't see!

Fox and Hound was quick to accommodate us, but we will definitely consider the other options that were mentioned or messaged to me for future events! Thanks for the suggestions!
