"Meet the Farmers Dinner" at Corbett's an American Place
October 9 Event to Feature Produce from Eight Local Farms

As a farewell to summer, chef and owner Dean Corbett and executive chef Chris Howerton will present a "Meet the Farmers Dinner" at Corbett's an American Place. The four-course dinner will highlight farmers who supplied the restaurant all summer and provide an opportunity for guests to mingle with them on Thursday, Oct. 9. The meet-and-greet will be from 6 to 6:45 p.m. and dinner will served at 7 p.m. The cost is $55 per person. Wine pairings are available for an additional $20 per person.

"Over the summer, we worked with eight wonderful local farmers who supplied us with such fresh produce as potatoes, green beans, peaches, lamb, chicken, eggs, tomatoes, beets, you name it," said Howerton. "Chef Corbett and I wanted to showcase them with a special thank-you dinner, while also giving our guests a chance to learn about their work and the role they play in helping us serve the finest quality food."
