2008 Bourbon Festival Drink Contest Winner

Congratulations to Tina and Bourbon's Bistro on their repeat win at this years contest: The Old Fashioned. Louisville was represented by just 3 restaurants (Bourbon's, MMark Lounge, and Varanese,) but made a convincingly strong showing. Good work, all!

The drink is, as follows...

Russell's Reserve Bourbon
Grand Marnier
Bitters
Fresh Clementine Juice

The true genius is in the ice cubes. Various purees are passed through a chinois (civ,) resulting in a clean, seed- free juice.

Bourbon Vanilla Sugar
Strawberry
Blackberry
Cherry Puree
Blood Orange Puree
