Dinner is Done, Soul Food in the East End

by Brian Curl » Tue Sep 09, 2008 8:33 pm

I saw some mention of Dinner is Done in another thread and thought they deserved their own discussion and a link to their web page. I stopped by there tonight and got a 2pc white meat fried chicken meal with two sides for 6.50. The chicken was delicious and nicely seasoned but not spicy. I got cabbage and green beans which were also very good and seasoned. They have a hot steam table with food that is prepared and they also cook to order from a pretty extensive menu featuring southern favorites. This place is near the Wal Mart grocery at Ruckriegel and Billtown in Jtown. Their website has complete menu including pricing.

Robin, how about a soul/southern food review for Leo? This is an interesting segment but not covered to much, may be interesting to readers.
