I posted this review on Trip Advisor:
I really wanted to love this place. We have enjoyed tapas style dining in many places. In Louisville, both Nios and Mojitos do an outstanding job with the plates and presentation. We enjoyed the food, but instead of "small plates" you might want to say "skimpy". The grilled calamari (7.50) were the highlight of the meal. Tender and smoky in a light marinade, they were delicious. The scallops in a romenesco sauce were good, but at $8.50 there were only 3 small scallops. VERY small scallops. We used the sauce on our bread to get our money's worth! The mussels in spicy broth at $7.50 were no bargain. There were 10 small mussels and the broth was just a couple teaspoons at the bottom of the plate. Seviche, down the street, gives you about 20 mussels in a huge bowl of broth with bread points for dipping at only $8. The dish called Zarzuela had 2 mussels, two scallops, some salmon and some very small shrimp. The sauce was tasty, but at $9 it was overpriced. We decided on one cold vegetable, the Patates con ali-oli. This was a joke. At $6, we got a small plate of boiled potatoes with what tasted like sour cream on top. Bland and boring. Also, there was no "presentation" at all with the plates. No herb twigs, fruit zests or the like. The service was friendly and everything came out in time, but if you are hungry, it will be very expensive to get filled up here! We went through two baskets of bread, which is rare for us.
