i know this pizza jewel has been discussed on the old forum, but the family and i made it out there last evening for dinner. wow! most of us are chicago-style pizza fans - one opts for the thin crust - but we were blown away with these pies. Spinach and garlic on one pie and italian sausage, onion, mushroom on the other delicious. we started with an order of wings that were crunchy without any signs of grease and a pleasant after-burn.
if you haven't made it out to 4th and winkler to give them a try, please do yourself a tasty favor and go. don't let the distance or neighborhood put you off if you are coming from the east end. you will be rewarded with great food, friendly service and an inviting interior.
