Some friends of mine rode down Westport Road yesterday, and La Perla Del Pacifica has a large "For Lease" sign in the window--did it move or close? Anybody know?

The exact mechanics are not clear, but it basically moved in with or merged with or moved to the new Perla del Pacifico location on South Preston. So the restaurant is still alive, but sadly, the best (and maybe the only) authentic Mexican spot in the East End has now moved to the more traditional Latino strip.
