Lunch today before the UL/UK game

Hey folks,

Trying to find a spot to meet a friend for lunch before the big game (we're going) and with the Iron Man running right by the stadium (about the time of the start of the game) I'm having a tough time figuring out where to go... on top of the fact that it's Sunday. Any suggestions?

And how the Cafe Lou Lou or North End Cafe bulls have great food in a relaxed atmosphere great for a pregame meal. They both are located away from the other activities so traffic shouldn't be an issue. You can also call and make reservations for both of them.

Cafe Lou Lou in St. Matthews is open from 11 until 3, just before the game.

We love Santa Fe, a delicious authentic mexican restaurant on 3rd. Street across from the UofL baseball stadium. We eat lunch there and walk to Papa John's stadium (10 minute walk). They have the best burritos. If you go bring cash- thwy don't accept cards.

Thanks for both suggestions. I love both places! Lou lou is walking distance from me and Santa Fe is always worth the trip out there (not that it's rel=ally that far either).
I had thought of a few things on 3rd, but the runners are going southern and near 3rd - traffic is going to be worse than usual between game and iron man activities.

I think we may go to Spring St since it's a nice comfortable mid point and should help us avoid too much Iron Man. Plus, one of us can leave our car around there.
