This being the last Wednesday of the month, the weekly LouisvilleHotBytes dining review in LEO gives way to Holly Clark's "Locavore Lore" column, which this month details just about everything you might want to know about eggplant, how to grow it and how to cook it.
No restaurant news in it - that's my beat - but Locavore offers good info for foodies, too, and I recommend it.
Is it just me, but isn't Aubergine a much sexier sounding word?

I put vegetables in your desserts, white chocolate with your fish and other nonsense stuff that you think shouldn't make sense, but coax the nonsense into something that makes complete sense in your mouth. Just open your mind, mouth and eat.
