Labor Day - Who's open?

by Bill Veneman » Wed Aug 27, 2008 4:16 pm

Who's open and who's not on Monday, Sept. 1?

We've already seen North End Cafe will be, with abbrev. hours.

Any others?
If life's a Banquet, what's with all the Tofu?

Cheers!

Hey, Bill, I took the liberty of editing your subject to make it more informative, in the hope of prompting restaurateurs and chefs to open the thread and post. :)

I'm thinking it won't be a great day for eats, given that so many places are closed on Mondays anyway, and the holiday might prompt more to consider shutting down.

Usual advice applies: Small ethnic spots tend to be more likely to work right through ... and I love 'em. :)

Cafe Lou Lou is OPEN on Monday, September 1st, regular hours - lunch & dinner

Be there or be quadra-equilateral 8)

Side note: we will close at 3 on Sunday because of the UL/UK game - we figured to be empty. So, once again, that's OPEN all day LABOR DAY and CLOSED for dinner only on the Sunday night BEFORE.

The Bluegrass Bistro at Derby City Antique Mall will be open regular hours for Labor Day, 11 - 3.
That would be a great day for someone to come out and spend the day shopping and enjoy a nice lunch as well.
If you keep looking back, you will miss what's ahead....

Scott, I was with the group from Louisvillehotbytes recently. I had your Reuben sandwich which was one of the best I have ever had.
